if anyone here lives in england around chester and manchester then you should go to philip porter guitar luthier. he is really good at his job and he does not ask for much to make a guitar. he built me a fender stratocaster.

gibson guitars are the finest i've ever owned and played. i've owned 72' sg standard, an 82' les paul custom, 82' rd artist. i got into playing two fender super twin reverb amps and playing out of two digitech gsp 21 legends at the same time. i do it now at times when i want or need a really fat heavy sound. i do fender now alot. 3 strats, a bullet, and a late 80's squier II stratocaster. i do most of my work on the squier ii these days. it's a great little work horse !

I'm lucky to be part of the Gibson family. Gibson is far superior to Fender, they always have been and they always will be
